Ultraviolet Lights
Learn where HVAC ultraviolet lamps are installed and what they are designed to address.
One or two ultraviolet lamps may be mounted near an indoor coil, depending on its size, to target microbial growth on the coil surface. This coil-treatment application is not a whole-home air-sterilization guarantee and does not replace filtration, cleaning, ventilation, or medical advice.
